A hero image is a high-quality, high-resolution photograph designed to retain its detail and sharpness, regardless of how large it is printed or how closely you zoom in.
These images are captured on location using auxiliary flashes from various angles, resulting in a studio-quality appearance that is achievable through a meticulous process.
I begin by taking multiple images from different lighting angles, which are then edited in Lightroom for color, sharpness, tone and crop. Afterwards they are compiled and stitched together in Photoshop where I only grab the best parts of the light to create a final composition. The end result is what I refer to as a "HERO image.”
So, what exactly is a HERO image?
It's a photo you will be proud of, that you will want to put on the wall and share with your friends.
